Ergonomic handle made of micartaThe Cassic Pro series is available in different colors and materials. This model has a handle made of black micarta (which is a combination of linen and resin) that resembles a zebra in texture, hence the name. The handle is attached to the knife with 2 pins and a decorative mosaic pin. At the bottom of the handle is a stainless steel pommel (with Mcusta Zanmei's logo engraved on it), which you can use to crush garlic, among other things.
Razor-sharp steel with DamaskThe knife is made of razor-sharp Japanese VG-10 steel. This type of steel has a high hardness (61 rockwell), which makes the knife stay sharp longer. To protect the hard blade from drops and bumps, 32 layers of softer steel are folded over it. These layers form a beautiful pattern that is different for each knife. Thanks to the special Hamaguri V-Edge form each knife is razor sharp out of the box
